I haven't been there in about a year, but apparently the thieves
entered the base at the SE gate, at the residential area, and took the
road that goes 1/8 mile north and then 1/4 mile west to the main base,
where they were shot on the overramp. I have no idea why they entered
the base because they could have stayed on the public road that runs
right next to the base and reached the same destination -- without
being shot -- and maybe have gotten away.
