Default June 2016 U.S. Car and Light Truck Sales: Softening Doesn't Worry Automakers

Overall sales for the nation's third-biggest automaker dropped 2.7 percent for the first half of 2016, though truck and sport-utility sales are up. The company's U.S. leadership is happy and optimistic because those trucks and SUVs earn bigger profit margins than Toyota Camrys and Corollas and Lexus ES and GS models anyway.
