Beside the cost difference you should expect your insurance premium to increase a lot.

What to expect: Higher repair bills, higher maintenance bills, higher insurance costs, and a little more comfort when driving, especially since you won't be sitting on as thick of lump from your wallet.

Lexus is made by Toyota and they are of the highest quality, a lexus will ride smoother than a honda, you will love this car, good luck! Expect happiness

You'll love it but remember the costs will increase.

Once you drive the LExus IS250 you will love it. Expect to see higher costs for repair, maitenacnce, insurance, and gas. But its well worth it since you get a better ride that drives and looks good. Oh and remember, you can sometimes buy Toyota parts and go to Toyota dealership to get stuff for your car since half of its parts are the exact same, and they just slap the L on it instead of the toyta emblem.

The Honda is much more reliable.

I owned a Lexus that was brand new at the time in 2005, it was honestly the worst car I have ever had.

If you are looking for a good luxury car I strongly suggest a BMW 3 series, I currently drive one. It is a good on gas and looks great.
