Default Ford Raptor vs. Lexus Drag Race?

So my friend and I are arguing. He has a 2012 Ford Raptor 6.2L V8 supercharged, and I have a 2003 Lexus LS430 also with a 3.7L V8. The horsepower in the raptor is about 110hp greater, but the raptor weights a about twice as heavy curb weight (3000 on the Lexus vs 6000 on the Raptor). He says the lexus probably won't win in a quarter mile drag, and definitely not anything farther because the Raptor would be so much faster on top speed. So if you are an educated car guy, please tell us. Thanks.

He for some reason doesn't think weight has anything to do with it.

The 0-60 time for a Lexus LS430 is 6.5 seconds new. For a Raptor it's 7.1 seconds.

Weight does take into account for drag races, but after the first few seconds will eventually get displaced by power... just give it a bit of road. But don't assume big V8 Mack Trucks are gonna ever outrun a V6 Mustang.

The Raptor is sort of the tuned off-road version of the normal F-150 and has a larger 6.2 V8 producing around 400hp over the normal 5.5 liter with about 350.

The Lexus had 290hp new. Because of time and normal wear/tear, some of that hp may have been lost. And I don't think Toyota had 'drag racing' in mind when they tuned the V8.

As far as top speed goes, the Raptor will probably win.
