Default Is a Lexus is 250 a reliable long lasting good car?

By long lasting I mean like is it worth the money ($35,000 new) to buy and will it last a solid 7-8 years without needing too much work?

I don't know if I am better off getting a Subaru or infinity or something, I want all year round all weather car (snow) that will last a while and give me the luxury "feel" at a lower cost.

I really like Lexus is. Does the company Lexus have a bad or a good rep for reliability?

Lexus is Toyota's luxury line and they make good reliable cars. So yes it should last 7-8 years with minimal issues so long as you keep up on the maintenance oil changes etc...

Owned an '06 IS350 and the car was incredibly reliable, and that was the first year model, which normally has problems. Lexus and Toyota have had a reputation for many years for making great cars. You really can't go wrong with Lexus, but may I make a suggestion? Try and find a low mileage IS350, the extra power is awesome and there is very little difference in gas mileage.
