Default Is scraping the bottom of your car serious?

I'm driving a car not an SUV for the first time. It scrapes when I go up a small incline to a driveway or parking lot unless I'm going not just slow buf super slow. Does it damage this car? Thanks.

It CAN be, depending on what, is low enough to drag the ground.

MANY low riding cars have problems with 'speed bumps' in parking lots.

If possible try to go over them or over inclines at an angle, (one wheel at a time,) as this can help; especially if it has a 'soft' suspension.

It could also be caused by weak springs and/or worn shock absorbers.
