Should I buy 2004 lexus sc?

Hi,

I'm currently in the market for a new car. I'm mostly looking for a convertible add my daily. I was offer a 2004 lexus SC silver v8 for $18000 + 1500 for an extended warranty. The car had 49000 miles on it and is in mint condition. Is this a good car in general,, is it too old what would you get instead

Thanks for any advice

Please, I know that it is your car and your preference and your money, but you could find so much better cars with that money. First of all, does the car have to be convertible? If so you can check out the 2011 Ford Mustang Convertible. That goes for about 20,000. The Lancer Evolution goes for 18,000 but is not convertible. The scion FR-S is a nice underpriced sports car. (I own it) It goes for 25,000 manual and 26,000 auto. I'm not saying you have to get a different car but I just want to note that you could find a car that will suit your likings better than the Lexus. Happy Driving.
