Toyota/Lexus cars generally just use the maintenance light as an indicator to remind you to get your oil changed. The procedure for resetting the light should be in your owner's manual.

If it's not, this is how I've seen it done on any fairly recent Toyota/Lexus w/ a digital odometer.

1) Set your digital display to odometer, not trip mode

2) Turn off car

3) Hold down odometer reset button and turn key to on position

4) Continue holding odometer button down for 5 seconds

Make sure the odometer is showing mileage, not trip

Hold the reset button in,then turn ignition on.

Mileage numbers will turn to slashes, when the numbers come back, you can let go of reset button.Done.
