Default 2001 Lexus IS300?

I'm planning to buy a 2001+ lexus Is300, but there are about average of 90k mileage and more. What can I do to make them in good shape?

a lexus is300 will go 200k miles without too many problems, with 90k miles it probably runs just as good as it did with 30k, just keep up on regular maintenance.

check the oil and filter

change it

check the spark plug wires and plugs

service with basic tune up if needed

check the water pump for any signs of leaky coolant

on Japanese imports this i find to be one major concern but a minor repair.

last check the brakes and i mean look at the pads and rotors

tires need to come off. for a proper inspection.

if the above checks out then buy it with confidence
