the 6 cyl 2ltr engine is identical in the entire is200 range, the 'sport' is just different spec with lower suspension, with the addition of an LSD, chrome 'sport' pedals and sill covers and other small differences. There are JDM (japanese domestic market) models under the toyota 'Altezza' badge which do have a different engine though, the AS200 is the same as the is200, the RS200 however has a more potent 4cyl 'beams' yamaha tuned engine producing in excess of 200bhp. There is also another lexus IS model which has a NA version of the toyota supra engine, the is300, it has around 210bhp, and covers 0-60 in around 7.5s, it is automatic only in the UK though.....

The engines are the same. 'Sport' is only a model designation like GL, Ghia etc.
