Meaning ECT? A sensor that measures the engine coolant temperature and sent to the ECU as an input so the ECU can send out commands to other "components" to regulate the air/ fuel ratio..

Hi like in my toyota land cruiser it is attached to the engine management system controls the air conditioning and heater as well as the fuel so it does so many things.















could save you a mint if a new one is fitted as the engine management system also via the cann buss tells things to the body module. so today a car is part mechanical and part electronics with at least 2-12 computers on board.
