Default Is it possible to put a Toyota engine inside of a Lexus?

I've seen it the other way around where someone has put a Lexus engine in their Toyota to Sup it up. Just wondering if the opposite is possible with good results...

Uh, assuming the same model (if you look passed the badges, of course), they are the same engine.

Swap a better engine of course! There are a lot of toyota engines that have high potential. Everything is possible, the only problem holding you back is your funds.

Yes. All of the older lexuses had Toyota engines. The newer RWD platform cars(LS, IS, GS) started having their own engines. Even most of the new lexuses have Toyota engines.

Lexus HS(discontinued)/CT= Toyota Prius

Lexus RX = Toyota Venza/highlander/Camry

Lexus LX= Toyota Land Cruiser

Lexus GX = Toyota land cruiser parado/4 runner

Lexus ES = Toyota Avalon

Not only do they share engines they probably share transmisions too along with other parts.
