$785-$975.......

Depends on your zip code too.Prices could be a little higher or lower in your area.$975 is dealer repair cost and $785 is a regular shops repair estimate. This estimate includes oil and filter change plus cooling system flush and fill.I used Automd to calculate this estimate.

Goto Google Play, search apps, then search for AutoMd.Its the first app on the page.Don't look for automd in the regular search bar, cause that automd website is different than the one I used.Go straight to Google Play then search for it under apps. The logo is a blue background with a white outlined car

How much is a 225.45/17R tire? Robert, we can play this game. However, if you are in Alaska it is going to be more expensive that in Mobile, AL. If you live in Arizona it is going to be different in different cities. This repair is not a standard repair nation wide. Besides that factor there is issue of the name of this car. Robert, just like your name is capitalized the manufacturer of this automobile has a proper name, Lexus. The model, Robert, also has needs to be capitalized, ES. If you notice on the car manual and read carefully you will see this. Lexus ES300. Robert, you are making the same mistake as to cars as millions on teens who unfortunately decided to copy the mistake, bad mistake on the one who started this. Yes, there is "lexus.com" but that is the Internet protocol. Does not make it grammatically correct. Robert, the 2001 Lexus ES300 that is in need of a head gasket needs to be taken to a mechanic for an evaluation. There are many things that might be needed that are practical and more economical to do as well when replacing a head gasket. Robert, asking online as to car repairs is foolish as any figure volunteered is meaningless. What matters is what the mechanic in your city or town is going to charge and you will not find that here. Do not ask as to cost of repairs here. OK, Robert? Lexus, Chevrolet, Pontiac, Mazda, all proper names.

A few years ago my mechanic was going to charge me $750 to fix a head gasket leak on my '99 Subaru Forester. He was not asking too much. I went around and most mechanics were charging $1000 so expect it to be somewhere around there.
