.Honda prelude is too old, it has not been make in 13 years ,Nissan 300zx is expensive to insure but cool, so the Lexus sc 300 /400 might b your best choice.

If you plan on putting work into it I would go with the sc300. I would look for a high milage version that's clean. I'd swap out a lot. Swap out the motor, tranny, ecu for a 1jz (or 2jz if you have the $), suspension & tires. It'd be a sleeper & you can still say "i own a lexus".
