Default 2009 jaguar xf or 2011 lexus es 350?

About the same price. I have a bmw and hate the maintenance costs and problems. Always something wrong. Love how my bmw drives but want something else. How are jag maintenance costs? I want the jag BC it looks great and is amazing but am I going to have the same high maintenance costs as my bmw?

The Lexus isn't going to deliver the driving experience of a BMW, but it will be significantly more reliable. And Jags are worse than BMWs in terms of reliability. Granted, a Jag has a uniqueness to it that Lexus doesn't, but in terms of maintenance costs, you will be better off.

What about an Infiniti G35 or whatever number they are up to now? I had an Infiniti for a while and the thing was bulletproof in terms of reliability, and a lot of fun to drive.

The Lexus is considerably more reliable, I mean a good deal more reliable. Jags may be more exciting cars, but they are notoriously unreliable. You want a good idea of a cars reliability, look at the resale values.
