Is that a good deal?Id like to get it for at least $12.5k since it has so many miles, are these good cars ?Also will maintenance be about the same as your average Toyota?

Consumer Reports lists a recommendation for 2006 and 2007 Lexus IS RWD at $15K to $20K so I would say

it's a fair deal. All depends on maintenance being performed. That's not too many miles. In terms of reliability, brakes were considered average. Only weakness was the audio system.

Maintenance costs will depend on where you take it. Should be similar.

price and mile are about average in US.

now you have to make the decision, how long do you want to keep it?

as long as you wouldn't abuse it, it could last to 250-300k miles with no sweat.

newer Lex/Toy cars aren't the same as older ones,

they demand a bit more maintenance since a lot more tech on board.

my opinion is that is a tad high, but it also depends on where you live. they always mark up lexus service prices... but for basic maintenance, most dealers(in my area at least, so cal) they will work on a lexus at a toyota dealer for toyota prices.

if taken care of well, it should last you to like 180-250k
