Default What's wrong with my car?

I have a 1990 Lexus ls 400, white steam/smoke comes from the radiator when the car had been driven for about 5 minutes, the car also had poor acceleration. Everything was fine until a minute ago.

hows the fluid level in the radiator? you may have a crack in the radiator. If the car is over heating that quick your thermostat might be bad and sealed closed . Check the coolant level and fill if necessary. Start your car turn the heater on hot and the fan on high if after the five minutes there is still no heat the thermostat is bad. If there is plenty of heat go look under the car by the radiator for leaks and then the engine compartment. If all that looks good then your water pump may be going bad..

Sounds like an overheating issue. Possibly due to a leak in the coolant. Best bet is to have a mechanic take a look.
