The TRD one has 65 hp added and you need cold air intake and free flow converter and muffler to get another 30hp and 30 torque for a total of 100 and 100 approx. This gain is great for a small car and there is no lag after 1 month to breakin . If you get a turbo you lose all warranties and in Camry engine you will get little gain without changing injectors, Mass flow sensor, pulley sysytem and computer with chip or change by computer. if you change ALL fluids to synthetic you will gain another 30 hp and 35 lbs' of torque from reduced friction also and will make engine last longer. So a little car with 300 hp is not bad.

My tc is turbocharge and i have no lag everything depend on the turbo that you choose, and for $1500 you can get a really good turbo but just the turbo, a complete turbo kit is around $3500. turbo or supercharge, turbo!

Get turbo, there is hardly any lag if you get a small enough one.

I would turbo, yea you'll get to about 200hp with the supercharger kit but I would think that depending on the type of turbo kit tou get you should get more hp for your money.

The only thing I would think about before you do ether, check out if any of you warrenties would be voided with putting anything on yourself. I know if the dealership puts on your supercharger your warrenty is fine but if you put it on yourself somethings on the warrenty becomes voided.

turbo does have lag but when it goes it goes and supercharge is part of the belt to get it going. it is all up to you and if you want to loose gas mileage to get a speeding ticket. if i where you i save that money to pay for gas that is about 3.679 by me and it didn't go down in months.
