Default Scion tC for a first car?

I'm looking into getting the 2007 Scion tC for my first car. I'm just wondering if anyone knows if there safe, reliable cars, and how they do on gas.

They are decent. Fairly small so they are better on gas and parking than the average car. However NOTHING beats the 48/55 EPA mileage of a 92-95 Civic VX Hatchback and it would be cheaper to begin with.

Good car. Made by Toyota so you know the quality is there. Excellent gas mileage. Very reliable.

They are a great beginners car because Toyota makes all kinds of add-on parts that you can use to enhance your car when you get some extra cash.

They are great cars.Safe, reliable, and use very little gas.But your problem is not the car,but you.Are you worthy of this car,as a first driver?Answer is NO!Get an older car for a first car, when you get enough experience, then buy the Scion.

if you have the money then they are good first cars.

civics are the most reliable and last the longest but are pricy.

but if i were you.... buy a lesser car so if you wreck you dont wreck a new car. or you can save up for a better car later.

I guess you should also check insurance quotes for Scion tC before buying one, for example here: http://autoinsurance.noneto.com

As I know it could be expensive to insure for a first time driver...

their reliable cars.. i like them a lot.. it was my first brand new car.. they do better on gas than any other sporty wannabe lookin car.. but for their reputation, they dont have much goin on really.. scion may have the cool name and cool rep backing it up.. but if u actually look at the car and in the inside, it doesnt offer much.. and if u want to put the tight shyt in the car, itll be coming out of ur pocket unlke cars that have all the gadgets already in it.. i dont like the plastic interior, and i think they could of changed it up with the color seats instead of the all black.. (imo) but after 2 years of owning mine.. I loved it, enjoyed it, but i think i am reading for something a bit more tone down/ a classy feel like a bmw .. or a average car wit more to offer..

my payments on my scion that was brand new (first time owner) back in 2006 is only $230 a month..well actually its now gone dow to $137 a month..
