How do do I remove the stock exhaust tip from a 2005 Scion tC?

Default How do do I remove the stock exhaust tip from a 2005 Scion tC?
The exhaust tip on my scion is all banged up, God knows why... The previous owner was a nutcase.































I bought a new one and I'd like to replace the stock one, but it seems pretty dang securely fastened... no bolts or anything, just a seam on the bottom. Anyone know how to get that thing off?

you cannnot remove exhaust tip on the tc...if anything you'll have to cut it off and weld new exhaust or buy a new exhaust

i soaked the exhaust tip in wd40 then use a flathead to lift off the clip inside. normally you should be able to pull hard and the clip lifts up by itself, but it was stuck on so hard i had to use the flathead
