Looking for someone who has gone through MAF sensor problems after installing a cold air intake and has solved that problem and still has a cold air intake. I really don't want to put my stock intake back on. Plus it doesn't help that someone through it away, therefore I would have to buy a new one

If you're having MAF problems, I would just put the old intake back on. They really don't do much of anything. They're a waste of money unless you're building a race car. I've made this graph to illustrate the actual differences. The percentage of change in air-mass from one temperature to another will correlate to the change in horsepower.

Note that 1 liter of air at sea level and 0F is only about 26% denser than it would be at 160. The difference you're looking at is going to be between about 105F and 110F.
