Default Is a Scion supposed to be one of the superior cars?

Kind of like a Bentley, Mercedes, or Lamborghini.

I've heard that Kia supposed to be one of the inferior ones... is that true?

I drive a Ford by the way. I think it's one of the middle ones.

The Toyota car company has three brands, Lexus and Scion being the other two. Scion is the low end brand, Toyota in the middle, Lexus at the top. This isn't to suggest it's a bad car line, not at all, it's just cheaper, the FRS is the most expensive Scion and there are a number of Toyotas that are more expensive than it, and every Lexus is more expensive than it.

So no, it's not like Bentley, Mercedes, etc, it's not a luxury car brand. Toyota would be like Ford, and Scion below that, more competitive with Kia than any of the others you mentioned.

There are more than three tiers of car quality. Bentley and Mercedes are at completely different levels, with Bentley being much more prestigious. Scion is an inexpensive but fairly reliable car. It's nowhere near the top. Kia isn't loved much, but has made great strides in quality.

Scion is a low budget, inexpensive car for transportation, kind of like one step above taking the bus.

Scion is the budget, youthful brand of Toyota. It is probably more reliable than most luxury cars, but if you can afford a luxury car, you're not really worried about maintenance costs. Kia and Scion have some overlap, but Kia is definitely not inferior by any means, I know - I'm on my second Kia since 2004. Kia has to be one of the more reliable cars I have ever owned.

It is a Toyota product. In your world "superior" cars seem to be luxury brands. There are no superior cars just expensive ones and the ones that follow to the cheapest one.

A scion is not like Bentley, Mercedes, or Lamborghini lol...

Scions are a branch off toyota, they are cheap, reliable, value cars.

In terms of reliability and cost of ownership, it is better than Bentley, Mercedes, and Lamborghini.

In terms of prestige however, its comparable to kia and made for cheap transportation for young people.
