Default What do you think about Scion TC 08?

I just bought a Scion tc 08 and it feels really diffirent idk if it is just me. I used to drive toyota prius. And i drove Hyundai Elentra.

Heres the thing, i just want to know if this is normal for Scion tc.

The doors open all the way, like a big wide.

When tapping a gas pedal it just goes broom. The pedals are too loose. I drove a sporty car, but this car accelerates too fast, its hard to park parellel and its hard to back up when im facing downhill. And yesterday i accidentally hit a hole and my steering wheel goes crazy, i thought i was going get into an accident.

Is this normal? Am i not use to this strong car? I mean im not that stupid, but it feels wrong. And sometimes when im on the red light, when its my turn to go, it will make a drifting sound, its really hard to drive it slow before it goes fast.

Any advice?

If you think a Scion TC 2008 "accelerates too fast", then I guess everything you mention is pretty normal, it just means you have never driven a fast car, the TC is only 161 HPs, drive a car with 100 extra ponies, like a Saturn Sky Redline 260 HPs and RWD, and you will find the TC does not accelerate fast anymore.

You can test your car and find out if it may be moded by previous owner, running comparison test with a car performance simulator[1], if its heavily moded, that may explain.

Doors-normal.

You are going from a Toyota prius, which accelerates slow and has Zero pedal feeback because it is electric throttle to a hyundai elantra which is known for being quiet and smooth with a slow throttle response to a Scion tC. The tC is sportier, has more power, and is purposely made to have a quicker throttle response. People who buy tC's like to accelerate fast. It is meant to attract teenagers and be sporty.

You will get used to hit. Hit the gas pedal slower. you are used to stepping deeper on the gas pedal to get power, but now you are getting too much power. Your feet will get used to it eventually.
