Most parts are made by the company , and of course they charge what they like.































SOME parts that wear out on a regular basis, like brake pads, belts, and filters, can be bought from "after market suppliers ". Those parts will be somewhat cheaper than Original Equipment Manufacturer prices.































It you need a transmission part for a Scion, you won't find any "after market supplier " for that. Same thing for engine parts. But if you need a re-built alternator, starter, or water pump, those are available as "after market " parts, at a lower price than the Scion part will be priced at.

You might can find some parts that you would need at a junk yard off of a wrecked Scion at a good deal. I have bought a few things for mine at Advance Auto and Auto Zone.
