Default Why am I getting such low MPG on Scion IQ 2014?

I have had the Scion IQ 2014 for a few weeks now. It is advertised as getting 36/37 city/highway MPG. In reality, I am getting an average of 25 MPG. My driving is around 50/50 for highway and city. I usually have the radio on and sometimes the air/heat on low.

Anyone experiencing this as well? Any tips or advice appreciated.

BigAppleGuy- What do you mean by "jack-rabbit" starts?

A lot depends on how you drive. 'jack-rabbit' starts and driving excessively fast will dramatically lower your mpg.
