Default My parking break is stuck on my 2006 Scion xb!?

Today at work I left for lunch and when I tried to release my emergency break it wouldn't budge! I can't drive my car anywhere now. My home is also half an hour away so it will be a long drive. This car hasn't been sitting so I know it's not rusted over can someone please help me out? I don't have time or money to just let it sit. If i can know where the cable is located or if there is something else i can do to fox it that would be great! Thank u!

That sometimes Happens to cars, You need a mechanic to open it up, might be a bad caliper .

the cable runs under the car to the back wheels ! if it,s the release pedal that,s stuck then try to pull it tighter and then release it ! if that don,t work the take a pair of side cuts and cut the cable !
