Default 2009 Scion tc or 2012 mazda 6?

Hi, I'm having a hard time deciding between a 2012 mazda 6 with 40,000 miles and a 2009 scion tc with 60k miles. I've test driven both cars and while they're both different I like them both! The scion is a very good looking car with a little sportier feel, but the backseats are very small. The mazda 6 is a pretty good looking car with a little nicer interior and has 20k less miles, and the backseats are very roomy. If you had this choice which would you choose? Both cars are in mint condition and have never had any accidents. This will be my first car as well, so I want something reliable, and fun to drive! If you had to pick between these two which would you choose?

Do they cost about the same? Just as a whole, I don't think you can ever go wrong with getting a newer vehicle with less miles. Unless you're trying to save money by getting the slightly older car with more miles, I'd go with the Mazda. I'm a huge fan of the tC, but getting a newer car just seems better. Plus, I think Mazdas are decent cars.
