Default 2009 Camry seats

I brought my new 2009 Camry home last night. OMG - the drivers seat is awful. I hope I can get used to it. It's hard and the lumbar support (even turned to the off position) still pokes me in the back and makes my back hurt. I wonder if the automatic switch works correctly. It's a nice car but the seat is killing me. I'm supposed to drive 450 miles to Missouri in 3 weeks so I hope I get it broke in by then.

So, did you order this car online or through ebay, or did you spend time
trying out various models including this one?

I got it at the dealer and yes I test drove the same model car. It did not hurt my back like this seat does. Goes to show - never take a car (even tho you test drove one just like it) unless you test out the one you will actually be taking. I don't think this seat is "right". The lumbar support is not retracting back as far as it should. I've had Camry's before with no problems like this. I am going to ask them about it tomorrow. My niece recently got the same style of car and has had no problems with hers. Other then the seat problem - it seems to be a really great car except that the plastic parts are much more cheaply made then my 2003 Camry.
