Default Adding Spoiler, but want to get rid of existing third brake light

Hello, I am driving a 2000 Camry LE with 200,000 kms on the ODO but
with lots of life under the hood. That being said, I want to add
something to the car to make it more 'sporty.' I am almost 20 and have
had the car since I was 18. However, I have had lots of people tease
me of having a "Granny Car." So, I bought off of Kijiji a used factory
spoiler for a 2000 Camry. It has integrated in it a third brake light
already. My question to everyone is how/where do I get the deck cover
for the rear windshield third brake light. I don't want to give my
secret up that the spoiler isn't original to the car, but at the same
time, I don't want to leave it with a big hole in the back. I would
love to take out the bulb from the light, but then the "lamp failure
light" will turn on. This is the first and last modification I will
make to car. It is 100% factory/stock. However, after 10 years, it is
worth it to have some kind of a change. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

I didn't ask if I needed new friends. I asked if anyone can help with
my problem. If you cannot help, then please don't respond.

Christ, isn't someone going to answer this guy's question? Are you
afraid of spoiling your reps for being useless? He has two third brake
lights and wants to cover or disable one without setting off the bulb
out warning light. It's not unreasonable.

I don't know this for a fact, but if you can find an LED bulb you
should be able to paint it black - they run cool.

I think what I would do would be to cut the wires to the lights you
don't want and splice them to the new lights on the spoiler. Actually
what I would do is I'd just leave the car as it is, but I was young once
and if this is what you want to do, go for it.
Here is someone with the same problem but a honda, sounds like you
might also have to put a small resister across the circuit to up the
load a little because the LEDs might not draw enough current to keep the
check bulb light from coming on.
http://www.preludeonline.com/f62/rea...1988-a-232207/
Here is a place that has replacement spoiler, I would think the
spoiler with the lights hooked up should take care of the dash light
problem.
http://www.car-stuff.com/carparts/to...l#manufacturer
Google around someone has addressed this before or call one of the
places that sell them and ask them.
Let us know how it turns out. I'm wondering if the spoiler is high
enough to help a person backing up tell where the back of the car is?
That's what I miss about my old 84 maybe it was an 85 Toyota I could
see the end of the trunk when backing up.
