Jack, all Toyotas are going to the 5,000 mile intervals within the next
few years, it will be phased in with some 04 models and finally, all in
05. Its supposed to make it easier with all the intervals being in
multiples of 5000 miles, ie 5, 10, 15K etc. I think they are doing this
to help those that tend to forget (Charlene) and looks like no more
severe or normal, all will be 5K. Now this isnt retroactive to older
models, but your OK with the 5K, in fact, thats conseidered severe for
your Camry now.
