Default "95 Cold Start Idle

I just bought a 1995 Camry Coupe. I love it except for the fact that it has
a low cold start idle. Sometimes it almost seems like it will stop running.
How do I fix this?

I had the similar problem. I had to press the gas pedal to maintain
some reasonable RPM during warm up. The RPM becomes normal once the
engine is warmed up. The cause of the problem was the idle vale
control. Dealer charged me $500 for the repair.
