Default Fuse Locations

I am trying to find the windshield washer pump fuse in a 1989 Toyata Camry
V6LE. The only fuse block that I can find is in the engine compartment next
to the battery, and it does not have a fuse marked for the washer or wiper.
Both the Owner's manual and Chilton's say to look for fuse blocks in the
driver and passenger side kick plates. I saw no fuse blocks there. Where
else can I look?
TIA for any help.
Jamie

You may have to unscrew the kick-panels and remove to reveal the fuse-board?
They're in there somewhere.

There should also be an access cover, although I prefer to remove the
panel for complete access...

On my '89 4cyl the fuses are located behind the kick-panels on either
side of the car.

The box under the hood is mostly relays and fusible links. I think the
wiper-related fuses are on the passenger side kick-panel on mine.
Hope that helps!
Jason
