I know this post is several years old, but just in case anyone else finds
it...

My Haynes manual states the correct torque is 33 ft lbs...I went to that
figure, & am now the proud owner of a cracked valve cover!

NOW I find out that the correct torque load is 17 lbs.
S***!!!
