Default Brake Pedal Movement?

Hi ,
Does anyone know what distance approximately that the brake pedal
should go down.
From engine off.
Pedal pumped to get it hard.
Foot kept on brake pedal then engine started.
It does go down and will hold ok.
It all acts like Haynes Manual.
But how far should it dip as engine starts ?

Brake are fine but just wondered as mine seems to go down a good
distance.

Cheers Johnny UK.

Hi There,
Thanks for that info.
Yes so mine is about right. It just felt it was a long way.
But nothing in manual regarding this except it "should drop".

Thanks .

Johnny UK.
