Default 1996 Toyata Camry check engine light

We can not get the check engine light to go off. We hooked it up to the
diagnostic machine. It said to replace the cam position sensor or the
single circuit. This one does not have a cam position sensor. We checked
the crank position sensor. What is the single circuit referring too? Has
anyone else had this problem?

Before starting to replace parts ($$$$$), what's the OBD-II diagnostics
code you pulled from the 5SFE engine?
