Default 2000 Camry LE "light out" dashboard indicator

Our 2000 Camry LE (4-cyl) has a yellow indicator light on the left of the
dash which looks like little car with brake-lights on. According to the
manual, this indicator is supposed to convey that a light is out on the back
of the car.

I checked the rear lights, and all were working (brake lights and turn
signals included). Does anyone have a suggestion on how to "reset" this
indicator, or on what else to check? Note: the battery recently died and
was replaced.

Thanks in advance,
Steve B

I had a similar experience with my 98 Camry. Had a bad bulb in the high
(rear window)brake light. FWIW.

Did you overlook the rear window brake light or the clear backup lights
around the license plate?
