How do you know it's the relay and not the window regulator or motor
$$$?

Yes, it could be the motor that operates the window, or the switch, or
it could be the wiring/connector problem. All these items need to be
checked, for instance, while operating the switch, do you get the
proper voltage on the connector by the motor, etc.

It cost me 350$ many years ago to fix one. It is likely the motor or
window regulator

I've had problems with the (driver's side) power window... it was a broken
wire right at the door hinge, just fixed that and everything was cool.
Anybody here know anything about the power steering?
Mine get's real stiff, and only works part time.
I've changed the fluid a few times (just drain what I can from the
reservoir, and replace with ATF) and sometimes that works for awhile.
Is there a belt I can tighten somewhere, or something like that?

The wire's at the door hinge were broken (one of them) and didn't allow the
power window to work. I just located the broken wire, and fixed it (soder,
tape).
