Default Where is the inlet damper control cable - Camry 2000

With AC or heater ON, I get air from vents on feet, defrost, and front
vents on the side. No air blows from the front vents in the middle. It
does not matter which option I choose on the vent mode switch (Face,
Face&Feet, Feet, Feet&Defrost, Defrost).
With the vent mode switch disconnected (the dash is completely
dismantled), I connected the AC switch and the fan switch, then I
started the fan, and the air is still blowing on feet, defrost,
and front side vents - no air from the front middle vents.
I have checked the air inlet servomotor on the blower unit, it is
working fine.
Where it is the air outlet servomotor ? Is it on the passenger side or
driver side? Do I need to remove the steering and and the steering
column covers to reach the servomotor? What does the servomotor look
like?
What is the purpose of air outlet servo motor?
Could the problem be the inlet damper control cable?
The central console, glove box, and lower dash is completely
disassembled. I do not know which cable is the inlet damper control
cable. Where this cable starts and where it ends?

Thanks for reading this lengthy message and your help.

On my older camry a non electric dial to the left of the dash vent
controls air to the dash vents or it diverts it to a higher up vent,
they often break making changing airflow a big problem, I dont know if
you have this setup, but it is not electric.

Ask at Toyotas_Only - Yahoo group

I think you'll find your answer there - greater chance of receiving a
response from a Toyota service technician - who's actually taken apart
the dash to diagnose similar problems.
