Default Dealer wants to buy my 2009 SUV

What gives, aren't there enough THHs around? And what can I get to replace it since the 2013 models aren't available yet?

In addition, all the SUV comparisons seem to ignore the THH.

Lots of people want used cars.. They sent me a letter wanting to
buy my Corolla.. They probably send them to everyone and their
sister...
And then they get to sell another vehicle..
In general, you will lose $$$ in the overall scheme of things,
but you will have a newer vehicle.
I'd wait until the 13's are out, and then buy a 2012 unless
there was some radical change that made the 2013 better..
They will want to move the older stuff out, and you might get
a better deal. Or that's what I would do if I swapped.
In my case, I'm tighter than a drum, and had no intentions
of selling something that works perfectly fine.
When it starts going kaput, then I might consider another one. :/

Buy your used vehicle? That is a dealer come on to get you to buy a new
car. One of the oldest tricks in the book.

He will screw you on trade in value or the cost of your new vehicle.

Never trade in a vehicle. Sell it on the open market. Even let Carmax give
you a quote and sell it to them. No need to buy a new car from Carmax, but
they have pretty good prices and sell all makes of vehicle.
