Default Prius is the most modern car

Name one non-electric car that comes even close to the same payload/
performance as the Prius:

o full-size car - 94 ft{3} passenger, 22 ft{3} luggage
o 50 MPG combined - EPA tested mileage, 51 City, 48 Hwy

Where are the pretenders to Prius performance in the gas or diesel
vehicles sold in the USA?

So you're telling us that the Prius is an electric car?

It's not, of course, but do you truly think so?

Just to be sure here: what form of energy does the Prius consume? What
is the sole source of energy that the driver puts into the Prius so that
it performs its function?

The Prius is the most modern car as not one non-electric comes even
close.

Oh, a self-erected strawman that falls on its own. Fortunately, the
Prius remains the most modern, non-electric car.

Just to make sure we're on the same page, it is the most modern, non-
electric car with more payload capacity and a higher mileage than any
other non-electric car. It burns much less gasoline per mile than any
other car of similar payload.

Superior Prius performance is your 'tar-baby.' All anyone has to do is
start a new thread with a pro-Prius basis in fact and soon, you're
stuck. <GRINS> Let's see how far we can have fun.

Sofar, the chinese (BYD, Chery) hybrid and BEV

Koreans automaker (Kia, Hyundai) and India (Tata

prototyped or being tested on a limited basis.

Most all the entries in Shell's latest fuel efficiency
contest got over 100 mpg, however, they almost
always single seaters using three wheels...
