Default Toyota sticks to JTEPA Prius story

Pramon Sutivong, chairman of Toyota Motor Thailand , has insisted again the car maker has not evaded import duties on Prius components, saying they were imported under the Japan-Thailand Economic Partnership Agreement . His comments came after the Nation Associate Anti-Corruption Network asked the Finance Ministry to launch a probe into whether TMT had understated its taxes by claiming the hybrid car was a completely knocked-down vehicle, as the NACN feels it should be classified as an import.
