Default Car plunges into Mill Valley swimming pool

The incident Thursday afternoon at 381 Lovell Ave. had firefighters scratching their heads for a moment because there was uncertainty about how the powerful batteries in the hybrid Toyota Prius were interacting with water in the pool, according to Mill Valley Battalion Chief Michael St. John. After determining that the woman driving the car was unhurt after losing control of the vehicle, “the call posed some problems due to the difficulty of extracting it from the pool,” he said.
