Owners of popular hybrid models such as the Toyota Prius are set to be punished heavily under new car tax plans A STUDY by car price experts Parkers has shown that owners of environmentally-friendly vehicles are set to be stung for an extra 140-a-year in a car tax shake-up. Popularity of low emission vehicles has soared as a result of the tax breaks offered for owning a car which has CO2 emissions of 100g/km or lower.
