Default JGRMX Unveils 2020 Supercross Team

After yet another race-winning season, Joe Gibbs Racing Motocross (JGRMX) looks for more in 2020 with a new lineup. New to the team this year is Joey Savatgy. Savatgy made his 450SX debut last season and rode away with the 450SX Rookie of the Year crown on the strength of five top-five finishes. He has 12 professional wins and multiple championships through the amateur ranks. Unfortunately, Savatgy will start the season from the sidelines as he recovers from injuries sustained from a practice crash. He joins Fredrik Noren in the 450SX ranks. “Fast Freddie” made his debut for JGRMX as a fill-in driver during the 2019 Motocross season and was impressive as he rode inside the top-10 for the entire event. While the 450SX teams will see some change, the 250SX squad remains the same with the return of Alex Martin to contest the West Coast events, while Jimmy Decotis will run on the East Coast. Both riders will also run select 450SX events as they fill in for Savatgy. artin has scored three podiums and 11 top-five finishes thus far in his Supercross career and looks to move up from his fifth-place finish in the 2019 final point standings. Decotis scored two podiums in 2019 – San Diego and Seattle – and looks to score his first victory this season. The JGRMX teams begin their seasons in January 4 in Anaheim, California.
