Freon filling needs to be done by someone that has the proper training. Any shop should be able to help you but there is a "new" product by Red Tek that has a Do It Yourself kit that is a A/C recharge that does not have freon in it.

If memory serves correctly, it is no illegal to purchase freon for personal use. You need to have it performed by a professional who has the correct tools & equipment.

Freon is considered a toxic (poisonous) chemical

Your car uses r134-a freon. It is not illegal for you to

purchase it. You can purchase the kit at any major auto

parts store or even at Walmart. Buy the kit with a gage.

The new kits will only allow you to fill on the low side. It

is not difficult, you can definetly do it!
