A Venza to me seem like an old person's car, I would rather get a RAV4 or a scion.

Anyway, 4x2 with the V6. What the power, no need for 4wd. Otherwise I'll get a SUV.

4x4, i4.

V6 is too much power for a teen who's just starting to drive. Also, check with the insurance company on which trim gets the lowest rate.

I agree. Venza for a teen just doesn't seem to fit.

Honestly, I wouldn't be getting a new car for a teen, buy them a cheap car because being that they lack experience there is a good chance of them harming the car. My teenage nephew destroyed a brand new toyota yaris, and due to insurance costs he won't be able to afford insurance until after college. You'll be doing yourself and your teen a favor by purchasing a used car. I had to purchase my own car as a teen, and honestly I respected it so much more because I had a much greater sense of the amount of work that goes into affording a car. Really although a venza is a great car, it's just not a good idea for a teen, if you do elect to get him a venza which is a big mistake, I'd say the 4x4 is an excellent idea if you're in the snow, because it will be easier to learn winter driving..
