yes in the newer models that toyota has made, the maintenence required light generally means that your oil needs to be changed. my family owns a highlander and whenever that light comes on we change the oil, it goes away, i own a camry, that light came on once so far, changed the oil, it went away. ITS not the check engine light, that light is different from the maintenence required light.
