Is there a few ships waiting to unload cars from Toyota?

I heard their that there are more than several ships waiting to unload at the Calf. docks full of cars, and that the price of these cars will drop in price by half or more in or at the end of the year.

Don't count on it. First off, the majority of Toyota's sold in the US are made here. The cash for clunkers has eaten up some inventory so some models may be hard to find for a while which will be a disincentive for dealers to lower prices. Also, this program is eliminating the number of used cars/trucks on the lots so dealers will want to keep prices up to make up for that lost revenue stream.

They don't just idle ships at Sea and let them sit there full of Cargo and not unload them.

The Companies that run the Cargo Ships want them unloaded so they can get more cargo and make them more money.

So they might wait a day or 2 but not much longer than that. They would just go to a different port in that case.

Those Cars they do unload aren't just going to California they are going all across the US. So it's not like they are just for one State.

They will never go down in price by half. Ever. Period.

They are in too high a demand. Wholesalers would buy them up long before the price dropped to half or even close. There's too much money to be made.

So if you're thinking if you wait that you'll get a Car or Truck for Half off. You won't.
