Default 22r block???????????????????????????????
so if i get the block i know its not the complete engine.. how much would all the other stuff cost? pistons, gaskets, ext. and how easy is it to put the block withthe head?

probably about as much as it would be if you just bought the complete...i bought a 20r motor brand new with the head and everything for 1200 with shipping...all it needs is an oil pan, carb, water pump, fuel pump etc...head and everything is already attached...not too bad considering a chevy motor would be twice that at least

I bought a rebuilt 22r for a grand from a local engine builder. You can use your block as a core trade in.
