Default 1997 Toyota Camry: EGR Problems?
i have a 1997 Toyota camry. P0402 message has come on a couple of times now. My car does seem like it will stall at times.































Midas has told me this is the problem and i am getting the EGR replaced tomorrow. Should i ask for the passages to be cleaned as well?

If you are doing it youself it would be worth it to try to clean the EGR and see if the delay problem goes away. However, once you are paying for labor its not woth the risk.















They'll clean the area up when they replace the valve.
